The valve also acts as a useful emergency safety valve or for precise flow control. These items are supplied fully assembled and not as a kit. It will fit most standard IBCs in the UK and Europe where the buttress thread is a coarse S60X6 thread. An S60X6 Buttress thread measures 60mm across the thread and has a 6mm pitch (distance between threads). If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20% are not)， you can purchase a buttress thread converter which will convert the thread to the S60X6 you need.
